August 1st Day 57 - NO GOLF, a travel only day!                                                                                                                     Drove 468 miles

 We got up early and drove to Arlene & Mike's for breakfast (I DON'T eat breakfast, but keep the coffee coming!), then hit the road heading for Rohnert Park, which is just north of Santa Rosa, CA. Lots of truck traffic heading north on this Sunday, but all in all fairly uneventful. We are staying in a brand new hotel (IT WAS NICE!) and tomorrow we will meet Rick (from Clarkston) and his Nor Cal buddy Doug to play golf in Rohnert Park. Actually Margaret & I are playing one of their two courses in the a.m. and Rick, Doug & I are playing the other one at 1 o'clock. 

We went out for dinner after we checked in and ended up at a Mexican restaurant. The food was good and we were happy to get a good night's sleep.


Four more golf courses, four more days. The day after tomorrow will also be a travel only day!
